People
The Global Secretariat's main role is to facilitate and channel communications between network bodies for an inclusive and effective decision-making process across the network. Working with the Regional Secretariats, the International Steering Group and the Global Strategy Group, the Global Secretariat ensures there is a coherent structure to GPPAC activities, drawing from the strategic plan, regional long-term plans and annual work plans.
Global Secretariat
The Global Secretariat operates under the GPPAC Foundation and supports the work of the governance and operational bodies of the GPPAC Network, primarily the GPPAC Board, Regional Secretariats, and the Global Strategy Group.

The International Steering Group consists of a minimum of fifteen persons representing active regions of the global network, and a maximum of six non-regional members. All ISG members are decision-makers who may participate fully in discussions of issues, engage in consensus building and, when needed, vote. Current ISG members are listed below.
Board
The Board consists of seven members who are appointed upon nomination by the International Steering Group (ISG). Members of the GPPAC Board serve for a period of three years, which can be renewed once. For more information about our current Board members, please check the profiles below.
