Call for Expression of Interest: Seeking a team of consultants to conduct Mid-Term Review of GPPAC's 2021-2025 Strategic Plan

The Global Partnership for the Prevention of Armed Conflict (GPPAC) is seeking to engage a consultant or a team of consultants (preferred) to conduct a network-wide mid-term review (MTR) of our Strategic Plan 2021-2025.

GPPAC is the world’s largest member-led global network of local peacebuilders and is currently midway through implementing its strategic plan “Building Peace Together: GPPAC Strategic Plan 2021-2025” (Abridged Version, 2022). In this context, GPPAC is seeking to engage a consultant or a team of consultants (preferred) to conduct a network-wide MTR over a period of seven months from June to December 2023. The MTR will cover the period January 2021-June 2023.

We are committed to the principles of participation, inclusion and empowerment, and we would like the MTR to reflect these principles in its approach and methodology. We aim to prioritise the MTR and its findings in such a way that the network owns the review and its findings are put to practical use by our members. We, therefore, envision the consultant(s) working in close collaboration with the network-rooted MTR Reference Group and the GPPAC Global Secretariat MTR Team. The MTR will be mostly conducted online. Please read the full Terms of Reference here.

We are looking for a multilingual (team of) consultant(s) to lead the MTR, facilitating a collaborative evaluation process that fosters learning and adaptation, is empowering and is rooted in network members’ ownership! Do you have experience with similar participatory and utilisation-focused evaluations, and are you familiar with conducting evaluations with networks or social movements with programs focused on learning? Are you experienced in qualitative evaluation methodologies such as outcome harvesting?

Are you interested in applying? Please submit your application before Friday, 26 May 2023, 12:00 PM CEST, to PMEL@gppac.net. Please write MTR Application [Team name or lead applicant name] as the email subject.
