Peace education Webinar: Violent Extremism and Terrorism - Exploring New Frontiers in West Africa

This webinar, from our Peace Education webinar series, highlights the emerging trend of violent extremism and terrorism in West Africa-Sahel belt and its implications for the coastal areas of West Africa, especially, Benin, Ghana and Togo. Lessons learned and recommendations for response and mitigation of the threats are shared. The webinar discussed the teaching curriculum developed by WANEP to prevent violent extremism through peace education in the Sahel region and in Nigeria.
