The Mountain Forgives: A Story of Peace in Colombia
This is the story of Wilmer -a young man who grew up during the civil war in Colombia. Faced with violence, the pressure of drugs and many losses, he had thoughts of revenge. But he quickly realised that not weapons, but dialogue is the only solution.
As a result of his realisation, Wilmer participated in the Intergenerational Dialogues, a project by La Paz Querida and GPPAC, in his town. He understands that it is important for people to exchange experiences and forgive. Now, as the director of the organisation Youth Table (Mesa de Juventudes), he will continue these efforts for peace in his mountain village and Colombia.
