Giacomo Castorina Cali

Giacomo brings over 7 years of experience with peacebuilding networks. He previously served as Co-Director of the United Network of Young Peacebuilders (UNOY), where he gained deep expertise in the strategy, governance, and coordination of decentralised peacebuilding networks. In this role, he also oversaw financial management, PMEL, and partnerships, while engaging with GPPAC as a representative of a non-regional member. Through these experiences, he developed a strong belief in the power of networks to contribute to sustainable peacebuilding outcomes at local, regional, and global levels. 

Alongside his work at GPPAC, Giacomo sits on the board of Peace Direct - Netherlands Office. He holds a Master’s degree in Conflict Resolution and Governance from the University of Amsterdam. In his free time, he enjoys practising yoga, bouldering, and making good use of his Museum Card in Amsterdam.
