The Power of Advocacy

GPPAC has developed an advocacy and a basic SDG toolkit to support CSOs in their SDG related advocacy. The advocacy toolkit contains useful information on: how to define the relevant actors and advocacy targets, how to frame an advocacy message and how to identify strategic advocacy moments.

The SDG toolkit provides a basic introduction to the SDGs and what/how to use them in programmatic and advocacy work, the role CSO’s can play and what key global and regional moments can be used.

We suggest you to get in touch with the representative of your government responsible for the implementation of SDGs and if your government does not have one, it is essential to advocate for one! - you can find further information about it in our Advocacy toolkit.
