Ivett Kōvér

Junior PMEL Officer

Ivett joined the GPPAC Global Secretariat as part of the PMEL team. Originally from Budapest, she has lived in Scotland and in the Netherlands. She studied psychology and research, with a particular interest in how individual well-being is shaped by social structures and inequalities.

Ivett began her career in academic research before moving into the NGO sector. For the past three years, she worked in child protection, mental health, education, and integration programmes for refugee communities in Europe affected by armed conflict. This experience strengthened her commitment to addressing the root causes of forced displacement, and ultimately led her to focus on prevention-oriented work, guiding her straight to GPPAC.

Beyond her professional interests, Ivett lives for spending time with friends and family. She enjoys volunteering, biking around the city, discussing the big questions of our life, but also having an occasional good laugh!
