Evgenia Mamedkhanova

Organizational Support Officer

Evgenia has always been interested in a multitude of human issues. To explore their complexity and to see the world beyond her personal experience, Evgenia studied sociology. Once she gained work and life experience necessary to understand what really moves her, she decided to pursue a degree in war and peace studies. Before joining GPPAC, Evgenia worked for environmental NGOs and volunteered for various initiatives supporting the integration of migrant newcomers into the Dutch society.

Ask Evgenia about...
How to run the administrative part of a project like clockwork. Evgenia will find practical solutions to take away inefficiencies and let the team focus on achieving impact.

Evgenia’s all-time favourite place in the world…
is Cádiz. Its cobbled streets, towers, fine white sand beaches, ‘tablaos’, ‘freidurias’, and, of course, the charismatic ‘gaditanos’ are Evgenia’s endless source of inspiration.

Why Evgenia works at GPPAC…
because it is a unique opportunity to make her academic knowledge in war and peace studies operational and to contribute to the organisational effort to find peaceful solutions to conflicts.

Evgenia’s hero
There are several figures that inspire Evgenia professionally; Mahatma Gandhi and Evgenia Kara-Murza are among them. On a personal level, her grandmother, Galina, is her paragon of virtue.
