On Participation and Peace: Voices from Palestine

Films

Young men and women from the Occupied Palestinian Territory created the videos below using the participatory video methodology that empowers them to tell their own stories. Through hands-on learning in filming, editing, and storytelling, participants take full ownership of their narratives, using video as a catalyst for dialogue, reflection, and social change.

These films were produced within the “Roadmap to Reconciliation: Palestinian Women Lead the Way” project, which seeks to strengthen the role of Palestinian women in national reconciliation efforts. The project supports women in leading initiatives that promote internal Palestinian reconciliation, in line with UN Security Council Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace, and Security.
