Global Solidarity Online Meeting to Stop War, Defend Human Rights, and Open Routes to Peace in Palestine

In light of the ongoing challenges and crises in Gaza and Palestine, this online meeting seeks to unite global networks, civil society organisations, and human rights defenders to advocate for peace, justice, and human rights in the region. As the situation continues to evolve, it is imperative to amplify the collective voice and strategically align actions to support the Palestinian people and the broader quest for peace.

The meeting will feature esteemed Palestinian speakers, including:

  1. Hania Bitar: Founder and Director General of the Palestinian Youth Association for Leadership and Rights Activation (PYALARA). Her work is focused on youth leadership, human rights, and creating platforms for intercultural dialogue. While her organization works on promoting peace, it does so by advocating for the rights and development of Palestinians.
  2. Amal Khreisheh: Director General of the Palestinian Working Woman Society for Development (PWWSD). Khreisheh advocates for women's rights and social justice in Palestine. Her work is centered on resisting occupation through the empowerment of women and promoting gender equality.
  3. Salah Abdel At: Chairman of the International Commission to Support Palestinian Rights (I.C.S.P.R). Abdel At is known for his advocacy for Palestinian human rights on the international stage. Their insights and leadership will help guide the discussions and shape the collective approach to the ongoing situation.
